For the nitrous oxide series, the only significant changes have resulted from updates to the emissions factors for road transport.
All the revisions to the inventory have resulted in revisions to the 2006 figures. The total of all Scottish greenhouse gas emissions (including international aviation and shipping) has been revised downwards from 61.4 to 61.0 Mt CO 2e.
