IV. Suggestions to Minimize the Negative Impacts
 
For many years, we have known the importance to learn the culture form different countries. Due to improvement in transportation technology, developments in communication technology, globalization of economy, and augmentation of population, the world is witnessing profound changes with multi-polarization and globalization. So to study culture difference became more and more important and urgent. People get more and more aware of the significance and the impact of foreign culture study.
 
4.1 Increase Chinese Businessmen’s Awareness of American Culture

“Know yourself and your enemies, and you may win one hundred victories in one hundred battles”, just as SunZi, the Chinese martial philosopher ever stated. If we want to communicate more effectively with people who come from other cultures, we not only should learn their cultures but also should deeply know our own culture.
 
    With an aim to accomplishing the success in their business, international businessmen need, first of all, to have a reflection upon their own cultural system. They need to be aware of their own values, beliefs and social norms and how these influence their way of thinking and their behavior, trying to avoid the impact of stereotypes and ethnocentrism. Chinese businessmen, in the meantime, should be culture sensitive and try to learn as much as possible about the other side’s culture. They should always bear in mind that their foreign counterparts are different from themselves, not only in physical features, motivations, but also in beliefs and values. However, there is no need trying to fully adapt themselves to the other side's culture and casting judgment on the other party’s cultural system should be avoided.
 
4.2 Necessity of Establishing More Sino-American Joint Ventures
 
The awareness of cultural differences is a necessary but not sufficient condition for success. International companies are different form domestic companies. Domestic companies, they only need to deal with local culture’s difference. But in international joint ventures, employees are from different countries, their languages, cultures are all different form each other. Chinese workers in domestic company use Chinese way to manage company, western workers works in western way. In joint ventures, workers from different countries, usually share different cultures together. Meanwhile they learn different cultures from each other. This is why joint ventures develop so quickly in recent years. So to build more and more joint ventures can help international businessmen to learn from each other.                  

4.3 Improving Intercultural Communicative Competence
 
In ancient society, humans only used body language to communicate. Thousand years ago, some people became to use language to communicate, but nowadays different businessmen from different countries mainly use English to start business. To improve effective cross-cultural communication competence, we should know that it starts from the language communication. Many people in the world are learning English now.
