近年来,应用语言学圈已经看到这样的趋势深层次的结构示意图和交际功能的解释话语分析的研究开发是越来越受到重视。体裁分析,话语分析的一个重要分支,是多学科的学科包括语言学,符号学,心理学,社会学,文学的互动的结果。体裁分析的典型文本的某些流派的特征,并试图认识到自己的形式和功能之间的相关性。类型分析已经成为时代的要求,这能很大的帮助英语学习者创建多种类型的话语,口头形式或文字表现形式,如报告,封求职信,公开演讲等。
In recent years, the circle of applied linguistics has seen such a tendency that the research into discourse analysis is developed into the interpretation of schematic structure and communicative function at a deep level (Xiang 1). Genre analysis, as an important branch of the discourse analysis, is the result of the interaction of multidisciplinary subjects including linguistics, semiotics, psychics, demotics, literature. Genre analysis describes the characteristic features of typical texts of certain genre and tries to recognize their correlation between form and function. Genre analysis has emerged as the times require, which is of great help for the English learners to create many types of discourse, oral forms or text forms, such as reports, letters of application, public speeches and so on.

作为一种实用的教学方法和类的活动,英语演讲,被广泛应用于英语专业类。它不仅是一个方法,使学生提高英语口语能力,但交际语言教学方法,为学生提供不同的情境下练习如何达到某种目的。
English presentation, as a practical teaching method and a class activity, is widely used in the classes of English majors. It is not only a method to enable the students to enhance the abilities of oral English, but a method of communicative language teaching, providing students with different situational contexts to practice how to achieve a particular purpose. Unfortunately, neither teachers nor the students have acquired any specific rules or trainings about how to make successful presentations. What's worse, although many researchers have began to study the genre analysis on the newspaper articles, TV shows, public speech and the like, nearly no one has focused on the schematic structures of students' English presentations, let alone did any researches on strategies of English presentations in classes. It results in such negative situation that students are blind to the ways of making a good presentation and teachers fail to get the effective feedback of this teaching method. Students are not given enough guidance by teachers and hence some of them simply read some passages about technology in their presentations. Without the clear understanding of presentations, students are not able to make persuasive performances to illustrate the topics well. Teachers fail to reanalyze students' presentations scientifically to perfect their skills of making presentations.
To fill up this gap, the study carries out a genre analysis of ten junior students' presentations in class of Readings in English for
Science and Technology. By studying the schematic structures of the presentation samples, this paper intends to provide the teachers with the present structures of these samples which are needed to be further modified.
It is hoped that this study bears some practical implications. Firstly, it helps those who lack of the knowledge of genre and genre analysis improve the ability to organize their presentations in the way that the audience can easily appreciate or understand the information. Secondly, it reminds the presenters of the importance of the schematic structure of a specific genre in the realization of the particular communicative purposes.
