Types of Economies and Strategies

Economics is a very vast subject in the perspective of human behavioural relationship with their established foundations of exchange of products and services. As a Chief Economist, I’m going to state different aspects, components and phenomena of Economics with the regard of their effects on the general as well as business public. More specifically, we are going to have a preparatory glance on the two different types of economics – and the related ones- which are ‘Microeconomics’ and ‘Macroeconomics’.

WHAT IS ECONOMICS?

General Definition of Economics and Opportunity Cost:

Economics is a kind of a branch of another complex subject which is called as the ‘Social Science’. This term actually originated and derived from the Greek civilisation, in which it was usually described as ο?κονομ?α: means management of an area. After looking and analysing different issues regarding economics, we can say for sure that it is the branch of social science which basically deals with the production, circulation and usage of wealth. Also, it is the key component in the maintenance of the human/general resources of our world with the use of giving output efficiently, so that there would be a great deal of stability within an economy/general system of a society or region.

In economics, people have to make difficult choices caused by certain aspects like scarcity. Scarcity is the limited or no supply of a particular product. The reason behind it would be several things like there’s no season for that product. Sometimes, it is also caused by the excess demand of that product. So, in this demand becomes higher and the supply becomes lower and people start to make choices whether they want to consume that product or they can find some alternatives. If they want to buy then they can pay higher prices and in this case, economy remains in motion.

Owing to this, opportunity cost is a kind of choice when any person or firm selects one option over another choice. This term is very important for producers as they need to select the best alternative choice in order to obtain efficient production.
