3.1. Analysis of the questionnaires
This chapter summarizes the problems of the cohesion of English vocabulary teaching in junior and senior high schools and gives corresponding suggestions by analyzing the teachers' and students' questionnaires. Among them, the teachers' questionnaires focus on the awareness of cohesion and vocabulary teaching methods, and the students' questionnaires focus on the current situation of vocabulary learning and learning methods. In order to prove that this questionnaire is true and reliable, the following two questionnaires are used to calculate the reliability and validity by SPSS.
1) Teacher’s questionnaire
Reliability analysis: The intrinsic reliability of this paper was analyzed using the Cronbach alpha coefficient. alpha value was 0.740 > 0.7 and the questionnaire had good internal consistency.
Conclusion
Major findings
This thesis focuses on the current situation of the cohesion between English vocabulary teaching in junior and senior high schools. A literature search on the issue under study revealed that there is relatively little literature on the issue studied in this paper. The problem of teaching English vocabulary at the cohesion between junior and senior high schools should be taken seriously by educators, parents and students. The author has completed the paper by investigating the current situation of the cohesion of English vocabulary teaching in junior and senior high schools and making corresponding suggestions based on the previous studies through literature research method, classroom observation method, and questionnaire survey method.
In the process of classroom observation, the author conducted an experimental study on senior high schools’ English teachers, senior students' awareness of cohesion, vocabulary learning content, and vocabulary learning methods.
