摘要:本文是一篇英语教学法论文,本文旨在揭示《英语人教版》(必修)中学习策略的总体构成以及10年级学生的学习策略实施现状。
1.2.2 Practical Significance
The practical significance of studying the learning strategies in English textbooks ismainly reflected in the following aspects. First, a learner understands the learning strategies in the textbooks so that they can deepen their understanding of their own learning strategies.Learners may also apply the strategies used for English to other subjects, to improve theirefficiency, comprehensive learning ability. Secondly, as far as teachers are concerned, theevaluation of textbooks is helpful for them to select the proper parts of the textbook and makeadjustments in teaching (Cheng, 2011). Zou (2015) also encourages teachers to conduct thecontent analysis research of teaching materials, so as to objectively evaluate teachingmaterials, use teaching materials appropriately, and design suitable learning materials basedon the law of students’ cognition.
CHAPTER TWO Literature Review
2.1 Textbooks
2.1.1 Definition of Textbooks
More often than not, there is more than one definition of teaching materials for study, butgenerally in a broad or narrow sense. In a broad sense, all materials used by teachers in theteaching process and all learning-related resources used by students in the learning processcan be called materials for study, such as textbooks, CDs, PowerPoint slides, videos, and out-of-class reading materials (Tomlinson, 2007). Thus, in a broad sense, materials for study notonly include textbooks officially published, but also materials of all sorts that boost students’knowledge and learning skills. In a narrow sense, Sheldon (1987) defined teaching materialsas textbooks specifically. In this sense, the design of textbooks follows the curriculumstandards; and their contents are classified, according to the syllabus for different learningstages and to the requirements for students at each stage, into multiple books. For example,English PEP are divided into compulsory modules, compulsory elective modules and electivemodules. Compulsory modules 1 to 3 are required for high school graduation; compulsoryelective modules 1 to 4 are compulsory elective, which are compulsory for Gaokao (thecollege entrance examination); in addition, there are three elective modules for students ifthey would like to learn more. The knowledge contained in different textbooks varies, corresponding to what the students need at each stage. This research focuses on the learningstrategies in the three compulsory modules.
2.1.2 Status Quo of Research Abroad
Researches on materials for study started early in foreign countries, and haveexperienced decades of rapid development. A mature research system has been built, followedby their boost in teaching practice and teachers’ quality. This research analyses foreignliterature with works in the library, and literature retrieved from the CNKI database (search bykeywords: textbook, analysis, and so forth). The specific analysis is as follows:
For textbook studies, Johnsen. E.B. (1993) divides textbooks into four categories basedon topics: content analysis, development and editing, application, evaluation and selection. Itis generally agreed that the teaching materials study shall be based on the ideology ofteaching materials and conducted fr本论文由英语论文网提供整理,提供论文代写,英语论文代写,代写论文,代写英语论文,代写留学生论文,代写英文论文,留学生论文代写相关核心关键词搜索。
