5.1 Results and Discussion of the Questionnaires

The purpose of the questionnaire survey before the experiment was mainly tounderstand the grammar learning attitudes of students in the EC.A total of 40wasdistributed and 40 was valid.The questionnaire survey was conducted during thebreak time after the English grammar class.The author supervised the whole processof filling in the questionnaire to ensure its validity.After that,the author comparedand analyzed the data of the EC before and after the experiment,and the specificresults were analyzed as follows:

CHAPTER SIX CONCLUSION

6.1 Major Findings of the Research

Based on the research and experiment as well as conclusion drawn from the thequestionnaires,classroom observation and interviews and tests,the author has foundthat STA can improve students’attitude toward English grammar and can enhancetheir achievement of grammar and their comprehensive ability in English in ruraljunior high school,but in some aspects,it needed to further strengthen.

First,most students hold a positive attitude towards STA.The application ofSTA in rural junior high school English grammar classroom made more studentsrealize the importance of grammar for English learning.STA Inspired theirenthusiasm for English grammar learning,activated the English grammar classroom,promoted the communication between teachers and students,and to a certain extent,alleviated students'fear of learning English grammar;

Second,the application of STA in junior high School English grammar teachingcan improve students’achievement in English grammar learning.There exists greatenhancement in English grammar after the application of STA comparing the resultsboth in EC itself and EC and CC between the groups.Therefore,the application ofSTA in rural junior high school English grammar teaching had significant advantagein improving students'comprehensive ability to use grammar;
