摘要:本文是一篇英语教学法论文,本研究以C中学为例,探讨TLA整合在英语写作教学中的有效性。尽管这项研究有助于提高学生的写作能力,但也存在一些局限性。

It is the measurement, analysis, and assessment of teaching quality, including assessment of student’s academic performance, teachers’ teaching quality, and course assessment. Assessment for learning can help students become autonomous learners and be seen as the most effective strategy for improving student learning (Willis, 2011). According to the difference in the role of assessment in teaching activities, Marzano believes that teaching assessment can be divided into three categories: diagnostic assessment, formative assessment, and summative assessment (2009).

The assessment in my thesis refers to the assessment activity in that students can monitor the effect of learning in classroom teaching, that is, formative assessment. Black and Wiliam (2009) believe that formative assessment is “All activities carried out by teachers and students, and use the information provided as feedback to modify their ongoing teaching and learning activities.” In other words, formative assessment is a kind of assessment activity carried out in the classroom teaching process. Teachers can adjust the teaching process according to the information obtained in the activity so that the teaching activity can better achieve the teaching objectives. This kind of assessment is no longer a pure assessment of the knowledge; it emphasizes actual and controllable tests, contextual teaching, and tests. 

2.2 Theoretical Foundation

2.2.1 Modern Curriculum Theory

The modern curriculum theory is put forward by Tyler (1949) in Basic Principles of Curriculum and Instruction, and curriculum research is widely and profoundly affected by this principle in many countries worldwide. Tyler proposes that if we want to study an education plan systematically and wisely, we must first clearly achieve the educational objectives; these objectives will become the criteria for selecting teaching materials, sketching teaching content, forming teaching procedures, and preparing for tests and examinations; The process of assessment, in essence, is the process of judging the extent to which the curriculum and teaching plan have achieved the educational objectives. It can be seen that it is vital to set up teaching objectives in instruction, and Tyler also Points out four basic issues that need to be clarified in the course of curriculum development. 1) What is the objective of education; 2) Choose what educational experience to achieve the objective; 3) How to organize the selected educational experience to be most effective; 4) How to judge whether the objective is achieved. These four issues require educational institutions to ensure that the selection of experience, organization and assessment of experience are alignment with educational objectives when formulating curriculum and teaching plans (Shi, 1992).
