摘要:Advertisements always are related with the beauty of music from hawking customers’ wares in the streets to the radio or TV advertising. In addition the mass advertising, the advertising also has word-of-mouth advertising. It is very interesting. There are publicized by one to ten, and ten to more, however, the word of advertisement need get a musical rhyme. It can be remembered very easy by the customers.

Ⅰ. Introduction
 
In English, the word "advertise" has its origin in "advertera" in Latin, that means "to inform somebody of something", "to bring into notice" or "to draw attention to something". There are many definitions about advertising so far, but one of them stated by American Marketing Association is commonly accepted among the experts of advertising: Advertising is the non-personal communication of information usually paid for and usually persuasive in nature about products, services or ideas by identified sponsors through the various media (刘秀玉,2002:3).
Advertising have many aims need to come true, but the purpose of advertisement are as following awareness, comprehension, conviction, and action (ACCA), according to the Association of National Advertisers. Whether a piece of advertisement can attract customers' attention and consideration or not is one of the critical keys to the successful advertising. At the same time, clearness and trueness, and easy understanding and memory. Otherwise it can not deeply remain in customers' memory. However, the advertising English serves as a way to introduce the goods to customers, stimulating them to be interested in the goods first, and then prompting them to buy some. With the goal achieved, the writer of advertising always uses the rhetorical devices in phonetics, and makes good use of the rhyme of voice to get a musical rhyme.
     Advertising may be classified by medium (newspaper, magazine, radio, television). By target audience (consumer, industrial, business), by geography (international, national, regional, local), or by its function or purpose (product or non-product, commercial or noncommercial, primary demand or selective demand, direct action or indirect action).Because it is difficult to gain access to enough date for English commercials and ads. on radio or TV, thus, the subject of this research paper will mainly concentrate on the print advertising.
     Advertising is a mass-mediated communication. For communication to be classified as advertising it must be: 
1. paid for, 
2. delivered to an audience via mass media, and 
3. be attempting to persuade.
A piece of successful advertising should realize five functions. It is Educational Effect, Encouragement of competition, Guidance of Consumption, Promotion of Sales and Transmission of Information. Advertising can serve as commerce, consumption, sales, production and culture. Advertising have many kinds of function for the society developing very important.
 
Ⅱ. The connection between advertising English and phonetic rhetoric
 
     An advertiser's main purpose is to present and exhibit product or service, and to spread the influence and coverage of which to the extent that the potential purchasing population becomes real and actual. Simply put, advertisers try by the various means at their disposal to get people to buy the product or service advertised. Moreover, advertisers want potential purchasers to consider what is advertised to the exclusion of all other similar products or services. They therefore attempt to construct an advertisement that will fully involve the attention of the potential purchaser and which will have a persuasive effect.
