摘要:本文是一篇初中英语教学论文,本文对195名大学生进行了问卷调查。研究发现,男女生在学习动机、学习态度、学习兴趣和学习策略上存在显著差异,这是导致英语学习性别差异的主要原因。为了进一步了解原因,作者所在学校对英语教师进行了访谈。

5.1 Analysis of the Final Examination Results

In order to find out whether gender differences influence junior highschool students’ English learning, the thesis analyzes the results of the test scoresof the students in three grades. From the analysis of the test results, we can easilyfind there are significant differences between male and female students in Englishlearning. The following is the specific comparisons of test results in Grade Seven,Eight and Nine.

6.1 Major Findings

1. Gender differences influence junior high school students’ Englishlearning. The thesis analyzes the results of the final English examinations thestudents in three grades of Fanzhen No.1 middle school. It compares the averagescores of male and female students in English, the excellent rate and passing rateof English scores, and finds that there are obvious gender differences in Englishlearning between male and female students through independent sample t-test.

2. There are many causes of junior high school students’ gender differencesin English. In this thesis, questionnaires were conducted to 195 students. It wasfound that there were significant differences in learning motivation, learningattitude, learning interest and learning strategies between boys and girls, whichlead to the gender differences in English learning.
