We can learn from the predecessors’ research that conditional sentences are just studied in terms of grammar and structure.They never study text type such as the foreign trade English and do not present the proportions and distributions concerned. This thesis is supposed to do something in this aspect.
II. Conditional sentences；types in foreign trade English.
Traditionally, conditional sentences can be divided into real and hypothesized condition-effect types. For the real condition-effect type, the subordinate clause appears in the simple present tense whereas the main clause in the simple future tense. Consider the following:

For the hypothesized condition-effect type, the subordinate clause may appear in the simple past tense or past perfect tense while the main clause in the form of “would + verb” or “would + have +the past participle of a verb”. Such usage is supposed to be denote an act that can not be fulfilled or has not been fulfilled. Consider the following:
