The companyspecializes in engineering machinery, agricultural machinery, forklift, all kinds ofhydraulic components for heavy-duty mining machinery, flanges series, all kinds ofoil cylinder joints and piston series and special high strength parts.

To ensure that product quality is not compromised by contamination, thecompany has high requirements on the cleanliness of the workshop sincecontamination will not only do harm to human health, but also will cause damage tothe equipment in the workplace, especially to the clean room level, thus affecting theproduct quality. Clean workshop is also known as clean room. The main function of aclean room is indoor contamination control. A clean room is defined as a room withair filtration, distribution, optimization, construction materials and devices, in whichspecific and regular operating procedures are used to control the concentration ofairborne particulates to achieve an appropriate level of particulate cleanliness.

An effective benchmark for contamination control is vital to ensure a cleanprocess and create a visually acceptable workplace so that the final products will notbe compromised by contamination. Monitoring and auditing the contaminationcontrol program assures that standard operating procedures and protocols areunderstood, implemented and effective at all levels within the manufacturing process.

1.2 Project Description

The interpretation project has requirements on time, dress and quality ofinterpretation. In terms of the working hour, it lasted for 8 hours from 9 am to 5 pm.During the process, the interpreter took on the responsibility of interpreting thebenchmark for contamination control. In addition, the interpreter was required to wearsafety shoes and goggles to ensure safety. It was also necessary to wear earplugs atany time because the environment was noisy.

As for quality, it is necessary for the interpreter to acquire a relatively high levelof knowledge of the company's projects including all the components and processesof the assembly line, the benchmark for workshop contamination control applied bythe company, and the communication habits previously established between theemployees and theAmerican expert, namely, the listener and the speaker.
