摘要:本文是一篇高中英语教学论文,基于课堂观察、问卷调查和访谈,本研究的主要发现如下:(1)英语学科关键能力的实施现状从调查数据可以看出,教师在英语阅读课上已经实施了英语关键能力,但实施力度不够。此外,教师对英语学科关键能力的理解还停留在简单的认知层面,对其实质的理解和实际应用水平不足。
本文是一篇高中英语教学论文,笔者认为语言能力的培养主要是在语言知识方面,学生在语言技能方面的练习较少。英语教师在阅读课堂上更注重学生语言知识的发展。很明显,在阅读课堂上花费的大部分时间都被语言知识的输入所支配,几乎没有对学生进行实际的语言技能培训。家庭作业主要基于对语言知识的记忆,例如记忆单词、短语和句子。
Chapter One Introduction
1.1Research Background
The Ministry of Education(2014)clearly proposes to cultivate students’ key competencies in the Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening Curriculum Reform and Implementing the Fundamental Task of Building People’s Moral Character as a way to promote education development. In 2015, “key competencies” become the focus of a new round of curriculum reform and a buzzword. The English key competencies also become a hot topic in the education sector. In 2016, the Key Competencies for Student Development in China proposes that key competencies refer to the key qualities and important abilities that learners must develop in the learning process in order to adapt to their own development and social development. The specific goal of the English Curriculum Standard for Senior High Schools (2017)states that students should possess four dimensions of English key competencies which means language ability, cultural awareness, thinking quality and learning ability after receiving a senior high school English education.
Under the requirements of the English Curriculum Standard for Senior High Schools (2017), English reading teaching in senior high schools, as one of the important tasks of English teaching, plays a key role in developing students’ language ability, cultural awareness, thinking quality and learning ability (Wang, 2017). First, it focuses on developing students’ reading skills, which help them to get information from reading materials, and developing students’ reading literacy, which refers to the ability of understanding the beliefs, attitudes and habits in different situations and contexts. (Pearson, 2000) ; second, reading texts are rich in cultural knowledge and can be used to enable students to learn and appreciate cultural knowledge through text interpretation or appreciation; they can also be used to enable students to learn to think through their opinions.
