摘要:本文是高中英语论文,本研究分析了高中英语写作焦虑的现状,以河北省曲周县一中高一 100 名学生为研究对象,运用问卷调查和访谈的方式对学生的写作焦虑的现状进行研究,对收集上来的问卷运用 spss13.0 进行分析。 运用描述性统计分析调查了高中英语写作焦虑的现状。
ides, this chapter presents different definitions of foreign language anxiety and classifications of foreign language anxiety. Next, the author introduces some studies about writing anxiety, which are composed of the definitions of writing anxiety, classifications of writing anxiety, the measurement of English writing anxiety and the causes of writing anxiety. By the end of this chapter, the author provides some basic theoretic bases which are concerned with the foreign language writing anxiety.
2.1 Studies on Anxiety
Anxiety is a common emotional state, which may be experienced by all normal human beings. When talking about anxiety, it is often associated with the negative feelings or thoughts such as fear, worry, tension, frustration, and so on. And there are various researchers who have diverse views on anxiety; this section shows a literature review of the definitions and classifications of anxiety. As a complex psychological concept, anxiety is usually regarded as the most vital emotional factor in the emotional category. Anxiety is also a common and complicated emotional state. From 1940s, there are many researchers and scholars who have done lots of studies to investigate the effect of the anxiety. Though there are many different kinds of definitions about anxiety, there is not a fully agreed definition in the world. The following part elaborately shows some different kinds of definitions on anxiety which are based on a variety of previous famous researchers.

2.2 Studies on Foreign Language Anxiety
In our country, English is one of the three main subjects which will be studied by all senior high school students. Moreover, high school students’ English learning mainly happens in traditional classroom learning environment. So based on the reality of China, foreign language anxiety and second language anxiety are usually regarded as English learning anxiety in this paper. According to the studies of Mac Intyre and Gardner (1991), they support that anxiety has the strongest relationship with language achievements. So in this part, it consists of a literature review that is about foreign language anxiety, including its definitions, classifications. Foreign language anxiety is regarded as one of the most essential emotional factors for foreign or second language learners. Arnold (2000) claimed that during the past four decades there were much more studies on anxiety in education all around the world.
