摘要:本文是一篇高中英语论文,本研究旨在通过对乌鲁木齐市第十一中学四名英语教师的观察,探讨英语教师课堂提问的情况。首先,通过课堂观察,探讨了英语课堂提问在分类、问答、策略、反馈和等待时间等方面的特点。然后,调查了学生对课堂提问的期望。最后,通过访谈考察了教师对课堂提问的自我认知。

本文是一篇高中英语论文,这项研究证实,高中英语课堂的评分存在某些问题。由于教师不注重课堂提问策略,忽视反思,无法帮助和引导学生积极参与课堂教学活动,这与新课程改革标准要求建立交际课堂的理念不符。针对中学英语教师提问中存在的问题,本研究提出了相应的改进对策:从课堂提问的设计、技巧和反思三个方面提高教师的课堂提问技能,提高学生的课堂回答积极性。

Chapter One Introduction

1.1 Background of the Research

Teachers’classroom discourse has an impact on the progress and effect of classroomteaching organization and even the language input and output process of language learners(Nunan,1990).As for teachers’classroom discourse,the classroom questioning has garneredgreat attention.because of the large proportion and many influencing factors.As the main baseof teaching reform,English classroom questioning has been the focus of language teachingresearch for many years(Nunan,1991),and it is also an extremely important way for teachers toimpart skills and knowledge.As can be seen,classroom questioning has developed into a criticalmode of engagement and communication between teachers and students,but also becomes a keyway to train students to solve problems independently and think independently.Classroomquestioning changes the teaching effect through the form of questioning,and it is reflected in theteaching process as an effective teaching method.Among them,the quantity,classifications,strategies,feedback forms,and wait-time of questioning are the specific influencing factors(Taba,1984).

According to the latest version of the National English Curriculum for Senior High school(2020).Effective teaching is one of the key research objects of teaching theory,in order toachieve effective teaching,classroom questioning has become an important way(Yao,2005).Teachers can not only integrate students into an interactive environment,but also restructure thelanguage to make it more comprehensible by effective classroom questioning(Richards&Lockhart,1996).Through the review of relevant literature,it is discovered that the research ofclassroom questioning still has numerous inaccuracies.

1.2 Purpose of the Research

The English Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2017 Edition)points outEnglish has developed into a critical instrument for intercultural communication and exchange.Learning English enables students to gain a better understanding of the world and to acquiresophisticated scientific and cultural knowledge,spread Chinese culture and promote mutualcommunication with young people from different countries.

Classroom questioning plays an important role in English teaching.It not only deepens thebilateral communication between teachers and students,promotes a positive classroomatmosphere,inspires students’thinking,but also creates a real language acquisition context forstudents and make teachers use the effective classroom questioning to improve the effectivenessof English teaching.

The study aims to investigate the characteristics of classroom questioning and find out thestudents’expectation and teachers’self-cognition towards English classroom questioning insenior high school.The classroom observation of English teachers who from senior high schoolis conducted to obtain the classifications,answering and questioning,strategies,feedback formsand wait-time of classroom questioning.Through questionnaires and interviews,students’expectations,as well as,the self-cognition of teachers toward classroom questioning are obtained,and the existing 论文英语论文网提供整理,提供论文代写英语论文代写代写论文代写英语论文代写留学生论文代写英文论文留学生论文代写相关核心关键词搜索。
