1 Background and Significance of the Study
Crisis communication is a crucial part of crisis management, which mostly acts on maximizing the information to the external and internal publics of firms. In today's highly competitive and global business lists, crisis management is critical to all organization's survival (Albreche, 1996; Barton, 1993; Fink, 1986), especially for service industries like airline industry that one time aircraft or flight delay may injure a good brand reputation (Rijpma & Duin, 2011). Crisis communication planning has become a substantial part for modern firms' risk management strategy (Rlsenthal, 1991).
