Women’s Responses to Internet Pornography:  Cross-Cultural Comparison between EU and Oriental
Cultures
 

Abstract:Internet pornography has been transforming the pornography industry in an unprecedented fashion in both centralized and decentralized ways and, furthermore, massively influenced the reconstruction  of sexuality in heterosexual-oriented patriarchal culture. Since its emergence, there have been continuous debates over Internet pornography involving anti-pornography and anti-censorship (pro-pornography) positions. Having embraced the contradictions, the purpose of the research is to examine the relationship  between Internet pornography and women, who are believed to be sexually unequal to men due to a patriarchal culture that has given double standard to women. This research is a cross-cultural comparison study between EU and Oriental females.
