摘要:本文是一篇英语论文范文,笔者通过对第一个研究问题的回答,主要研究发现如下:第一,天津市高考英语考试改革多年来,从宏观上看,考试形式发生了变化,即“半年制考试”,但从微观上看,在内容和测试方面没有实质性的突破。

本文是一篇英语论文范文,笔者认为作为一种高风险的考试,高考对高中教学有反拨作用。天津高考改革也给英语教学带来了冲击。因此,教师和学生应合理利用改革的反拨效应,促进积极的反拨效应,努力抑制消极的反拨效应,使改革在教学中发挥预期的指导作用,促进英语教学的发展.

Chapter One Introduction


1.1 Research Background

National Matriculation Test (NMT for short), as a high-stake and large-scale test,plays a pivotal role in senior high school education in China. Innovation is called for,since the requirement of the society has changed and the curriculum has beenupdated. On September 4, 2014, the State Council issued “the ImplementationOpinions on Deepening the Reform of Examination & Recruitment System(hereinafter the Implementation Opinions)”. In the Implementation Opinions, thebiannual exam policy was advocated to the National Matriculation English Test(NMET for short), the full score of which is 150 points. The ImplementationOpinions pointed out the NCEE are consisted of Chinese, Mathematics,English andother three subjects in academic proficiency test. The full score is 150 for Chinese,Mathematics and English and 100 for other subjects. Candidates will not be separatedinto art and science majors. The English subject will provide two test opportunities.The subjects of academic proficiency test are selected by the candidates from politics,history, geography, physics, chemistry, biology according to the requirements ofuniversities they apply for and their own specialties.

The reform progress has been made in Tianjin paper over the past several years.At the end of 2014, Tianjin, as one of the self-set exam authority, introduced a reformplan, which was implemented in 2017. This reform plan issued the biannual policy ofthe NMET. As the policy claimed, the first NMET is to be held in March (MarchNMET), and the second in June (June NMET). In the first time of the exam, twoparallel listening tests are included in addition to the parallel written part as thesecond time does. The higher score of the listening tests and the written tests will besummed up as the final score of the NMET.

1.2 Research Purposes

The latest round of NMET reform that was officially implemented in 2017provided two test opportunities for candidates. It aimed to reduce the vitalconsequences of the high-stake test on candidates. However, the format and quantityof the test paper remained unchanged since 2010 to 2016. According to theinterpretation from Tianjin Examination Authority, NMET in Tianjin is expected toguide the teaching of high school English. On the one hand, it is to rationalize thecultivation objectives of high school English teaching. Meanwhile, it emphasizes theutilizable and humanity characteristics of the English subject. On the other hand, theNMET reform aims to give instructions on English teaching and evaluation. Underthe guidance of the view of English learning activities, students’ language knowledge should be firmly established, and their ability to logical thinking, communicativelanguage and language use should also cultivated.
