integration theory,thedevelopment of mental space and its application researches in recent years.In addition,Hu Zhuanglin(2019)pointed out that deeper research on human language involves notonly linguistics,but also interdisciplinary research after discussing conceptual metaphorand other theories.As a result,in order to achieve international recognition in this field,Chinese researchers will conduct multi-perspective and interdisciplinary study on thereview and application of conceptual metaphors in the future.

2.2 Previous Studies on Diplomatic Interpreting

In order to have a general understanding of the background of this thesis,this partdescribes the development status and theoretical works of diplomatic interpreting atvarious stages at home and abroad,so as to provide reference for subsequent research.

2.2.1 Previous Studies on Diplomatic Interpreting in China

The researches on diplomatic interpreting are always related to some otheracademic areas,such as international relations and negotiation.So many scholarsbelieve that interpreters should be generalists,not specialists.But in China,according tothe data from CNIK,most papers in the field of diplomatic simultaneous interpretingare published in the 21th century.In recent years,this area attracts more and moreattention.Many scholars have widened the research angles and enriched their outcomes.The material used mostly in diplomatic simultaneous interpreting is press conference.Many scholars also put forward some applicable strategies in press conference towardthe language ambiguity.In the past few years,due to the culture export of China,interms of subjects,cultural-loaded terms and poems are studied more frequently in thisfield.From the perspective of interpreters,there are many discussions about the role ofinterpreters,the basic qualities of interpreters and the training mode of interpreterswhich include many different theories.
