Schema is the sum of people’s general knowledge and the network of knowledgeand experience in the human brain,which mainly includes three types:languageschema,content schema and formal schema.Schema theory holds that the process ofunderstanding or interpreting is the process of interaction between backgroundknowledge and input information.Therefore,from the perspective of cognition,listening comprehension in interpreting can also be regarded as a cognitive process ofdynamic interaction between source language input information and schemainformation in the interpreter’s brain.
