摘要:本文是小学英语论文,本文认为应加强对教师培训需求的研究,结合教师专业发展的要求和当地教育教学情况,综合考虑学习者、教师、情景以及资源等方面,制定和实施教师培训方案,才能提高教师培训的针对性,促进培训质量的提高。

nts have strong desires toattend the national teacher training program for self-development and title assessment.Though teacher training program provides a great opportunity for teachers’ professionaldevelopment, making the training program more pertinent is a big challenge from whichparticipants can really benefit.

4.1 National Teacher Training
With regard to national teacher training program, according to the former trainingsurvey, it is found that the main problems lying in the primary school English teachersare stated as follows:1)conservative educational idea and be short of innovation ability,2)weak professional foundations and teaching methods, 3)be short of moderneducational technology, 4)unstable teachers team and frequent personnel flow,5)insufficient internal drive of professional development, 6)be short of consciousnessteaching-research and weak ability of teaching-research.With that in mind, according to the requirements of administrative department ofeducation in Sichuan Province, the training purposes of national teacher trainingprogram are mainly about 1) improving teachers’ morality for the first, 2)updatingeducational idea, 3) improving educational ability, 4)summarizing methods,5)preliminarily forming teaching style.In order to achieve training purpose effectively, the program is designed for threestages which are concentrated study, shadow education and concentrated study. And itstraining content is designed for three dimensions which are professional concepts andteachers’ morality, professional knowledge and professional ability. Each trainingdimension has its own training module and training form (Table 4.1 and 4.2).

Conclusion

The research is based on the national teacher training program implemented bythe Sichuan Normal University. The research objectives who attend the national teachertraining program in Sichuan Normal University are English teachers from primaryschools in the rural district in Sichuan. And the purpose of the research is to findwhether the pertinence of national teacher training is strong or not.In the research, author devotes herself to find the difference and compatibledegree between participants and national teacher training program’ expectations. Thedatum are collected from the questionnaires and personal interviews and are analyzedby SPPSS 19.0 and Excel.By analyzing and cross-analyzing, on the whole, author finds what nationalteacher training program provides meet participants’ expectation and need. More thanthat, it greatly exceeds their expectations. Each coin has two sides. In other words, whatthey learn in the training program can partly solve some problems and difficulties in thepractical teaching. Some part of knowledge which is taught in the training programmaybe is not the participants’ interest or is hard for them to understand. That is to saythe pertinence of national teacher training is not very strong.From the other hand, there is individual difference. Each person has his ownunderstanding of training program. The training program can not meet all theparticipants’ training needs. How to balance the needs between each other is a bigchallenge for program makers.
