摘要:This handbook outlines the requirements of your Management Report, and provides clear guidance on the preparation, prior to their submissions for examination.

1. Introduction

General layout and referencing conventions must be clarified with a tutor before you complete and submit both your business plan and Strategic Management Report for examination.
The Management Report is your own work.  Its purpose is to demonstrate your understanding of a) Business Plan: preparation of a business plan, including the identification of objectives and a clear pathway to their achievement; b) Strategic Management Report: a management problem; the relevance of empirical research and how these might be applied to the problem.
Before submitting your Management Report for examination check, re-check and then go through it again.  The standards are demanding: be sure you meet them!
Clear and accurate referencing and acknowledgement is one of the most important features of good work.

1.1 Assessment Criteria
Examiners will seek to award good grades to students who specifically:
• Demonstrate their ability to plan and conduct a self-directed project on a well-defined management topic of importance to a contemporary industrial/commercial/public sector or organisation.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the professional and academic context of the management issue or problem.
• Use appropriate methods of analysis and quantitative and/or qualitative information from a variety of sources to investigate the problem or issue.
• Critically evaluate different arguments, viewpoints and potential courses of action in a balanced and rational manner.
• Show their competence in documenting the project work and its findings in a logical, coherent and concise manner, appropriate to a professional audience and using appropriate referencing , (if primary research has been performed, such as interviews or questionnaires, these must be properly documented) .
• Complete a clear, concise executive summary of the work.

The following Assessment criteria will be used:

Assessment Criteria Distinction
(70% +) Merit
(60-69%) Pass
(50-59%) Fail
(0-49%)
1. Knowledge and understanding
of the subject area; evidence of relevant reading; accuracy of work
2. Investigation and analysis
Ability to identify appropriate questions, use appropriate methodology, collect and analyse relevant data, develop arguments and reach appropriate conclusions
3.  Presentation and Documentation
Grammar, style of writing, layout; referencing; documentation of project findings
4. Executive Summary
For detailed descriptions of the assessment criteria for each of the different pathways, please refer to the back of the project handbook (given to you in early July).

1.2 Role of the Tutors

The role of the tutors is one of advice and support. You must take personal responsibility for, and control of, your work and should not expect tutors give you step-by-step instructions on how to proceed. Tutors are expected to comment on your work in broad terms, but are not expected to proof read, correct typographical errors etc. They will not give detailed feedback on topics that you are expected to know (cash flow analysis, marketing strategies, etc). They will not be pleased if you present them with drafts which are incoherent and muddled.
It is helpful for you to think of the tuto论文英语论文网提供整理,提供论文代写英语论文代写代写论文代写英语论文代写留学生论文代写英文论文留学生论文代写相关核心关键词搜索。
