1. Abstract

In recent years, Chinese fast food companies are developing rapidly, but the market share and profit level are far below that of the western fast food corporations like McDonalds and Kentucky. From the aspect of average sales turnover of one single store, McDonalds is 160 times of that of Chinese fast food companies. Currently, the turnover of western fast food corporations occupies more than 1/3 of the whole Chinese fast food industry. The causes are various, yet we could not neglect the problems in service marketing such as service quality, service process, service price and physical evidence.

In the background of fast food industry in China, this proposal intents to take McDonalds Corporation as its research cases, comprehensively analyzes its success in service marketing sector, and study McDonald’s marketing strategies in China. McDonald’s stores are basically the same, while the differences are also apparent. For example, the tastes of customers are different in tune with the regions, thus the food is different; https://www.51lunwen.org/mglwgs/2012/0328/1733161719.html  also the daily schedule in Northern China and Southern China is different, thus the service patterns differ. In order to make the proposal more specific, I choose McDonald’s stores within a region as the research objects, to analyzed its service marketing in that region.

The proposal consists of six chapters. First part is the abstract, which overview the main task of this proposal, and explains why I choose the topic and how I intend to do. Second part is introduction, which introduces the basic information of McDonald and that in China; also the selected region is introduced also. Third part is the literature review, introducing https://www.51lunwen.org/mglwgs/2012/0328/1733161719.html  some related theories, such as service marketing theory, transnational marketing theory, and marketing strategy theory. The fourth part refers to research philosophy and research design, which show the methodology of the proposal. In the fifth path, data collection method and the sampling size are in traduced. Finally is significance of the research.
