4.1 Addition

There is implicit information contained in some long sentences,but it is not clearly indicated inoriginal works.So some words need to be added in translation.Guo Zhuzhang believes that“inorder to make the translation faithfully express the meaning and style of original works and maketranslation conform to expression habits,some words must be added”(郭著章&李庆生,2000).Huang Zhonglian(2002)believes that the amount of information in the translated version is greaterthan that in original works,which is an increase of information.In scientific and technologicaltranslation,we need to make a lot of use of“addition”methods to supplement and completesemantic meaning that a author do not show,so as to make readers better understand original works.

5.1 Major Findings
