1.2 Significance of the Task

Since China’s accession to the WTO,China had more frequent exchanges andcooperation in the fields of economy,politics and culture.Activities concerning legal Englishare increasing,and the importance of legal English translation is becoming increasinglyprominent.As the rule of law in China develops,the countries and companies that trade withChina need to understand the Chinese legal system and the laws and regulations concerningChinese enterprises.
