The Study of Exchange Rate Transmission Effects on Chinese Inflation
Introduction
Exchange rate is one of the key variables, which has direct effect on the inner economic equilibrium and exterior economic equilibrium. In recent years, with the steady development of Chinese economic, the continually enlarge of active balance in trade and foreign exchange reserve; there is upward pressure on the Renminbi (RMB).
Under the situation of appreciation of the RMB, the price of commodities in Chinese is becoming higher and higher, which is the feature of inflation. Is there some relationship between appreciation of RMB and Chinese currently inflation?
The purpose and intent of this research
The purpose and intent of this research is to find the effect relationship of exchange rate transfer effect on Chinese inflation and to get some recommendations to remit the inflation in China.
The content of this research
An integrated research method of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis will used in this thesis to find the effect on exchange rate on the Chinese inflation. There are two main parts in this thesis – the literature review and analysis.
In the first part, the RMB exchange rate tendency in recently years and possible reasons for appreciation of RMB will described. There is also some analysis on the main reasons for the appreciation of Chinese price of commodities. The second part is the analysis and findings, which based on the research methodologies and the economic data.
