of  thinking capacity. So the frequency of each type of question that the teacher asked in reading class  can  manifest  the  teacher‟s  focus  on  the  cultivation  of  logical  thinking,  critical thinking or creative thinking. 

After  the  analysis  and  discussion  of  classroom  observation,  the  questioning  of research teachers involves all kinds of thinking capacity, but lack of cultivation higher order  thinking  capacity.  For  each  type  of  question,  most  teachers  questioning  at  the level of remembering and understanding while the number of questions at the level of analyzing,  evaluating,  and  creating  is  minimal.  Despite  the  exceptions,  students‟ thinking capacity is basically cultivated in the order from low to high level in English reading  class.  However,  by  calculating,  a  balance  of  the  percentages  of  lower  order thinking  questions  and  higher  order  thinking  questions  is  not  so  appropriate  for students‟ learning.
