摘要:本文是一篇英语教学法论文,笔者认为在传统的语法教学中,大多数教师选择列举例子+讲解规则+做题的教学模式来教授英语。在这个过程中,有太多的解释和太多的机械练习。学生很容易对英语语法处理中的困难产生恐惧。教师可以通过创造真实情境、将枯燥的语法知识转化为动态情境、激发学生学习语法的主动性和积极性来教授语法。

2.1 Research questions

The study of this topic mainly discusses on the effect of using situational method in English grammar teaching in junior high schools. Questionnaire survey and interview will be used by the author to help analyze the data and the results, the junior high school students in Qianjiadian Experimental Junior High School were studied. The study of English grammar in junior high school analyze the problems and the reasons of the problems on applying situational language teaching, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures to the problems and their causes, so as to improve the teaching efficiency and quality.

Key issues to be solved:

(1) What are the problems and reasons in the application of situational teaching in junior high school English grammar?

(2) How to apply situational teaching method to promote junior high school students’ English grammar learning? 

2.2 Research participants

The subjects of this survey are 107 students from Qianjiadian Experimental Junior High School. They were selected randomly. There were 68 second-year students and 39 third-year students. The detailed information of the participants is shown in Table 2.1.

The author choose the Qianjiadian Experimental Junior High School students as participants at this school, the author has two reasons: firstly, in rural schools, Qianjiadian Experimental Junior High School pays more attention to English teaching. Secondly, students are at the age of 16-17,who participate in this investigation .They have mastered certain knowledge of English. They have certain grammatical basis as they have learned English for one or two years in this junior high school. Collect and sort out the data of these students on the grammar learning ability training based on the situational teaching method, so as to understand the current Qianjiadian Experimental Junior High School students’ English grammar ability. 

In addition, the results of the experiment must be more reliable more credible, the author also selected five teachers as interviewees. The five teachers are distinguished by their level of experience, which from novice to experienced.

This questionnaire has a total of 16 questions and a total of 107 students. A total of 107 research subjects were selected from the 3:7 male/female ratio, which the questionnaire results and relevant data were clearly analyzed
