英语摘要的语言错误大部分表现在基本语法方面。英语句子的组成有严格的语法规则,阅读起来比较容易,一旦自己动笔写就容易出差错。医学摘要是长篇论文的缩影,是一项科学研究的精炼阐述,字字句句都很重要。我们必须力求语言规范,正确地表达其科学内容,很好地发挥摘要应有的作用。
所谓基本语法错误主要是涉及句子成分的错误,特别表现在主语和谓语上。一个句子的主语和谓语要齐全,主语和谓语的配套关系要正确,句中其他成分的运用要恰当等。根据笔者对一批投稿英语摘要的观察,发现这方面的问题不少,现选择一些列举如下,并提出改正建议,以引起读者们的注意。

1　缺谓语
错误:Results: Pneumothorax 26 cases and bleeding( including pulmonary and the path ofneedles) 48 cases.
改正:Results: There occurred 26 cases of pneumothorax and 48 cases ofbleeding ( including those from the lungs and the paths ofneedles).
原稿中文:结果:共发生气胸26例,出血(包括肺内出血和针道出血)48例。
错误: 43 patients had been misdiagnosed before the diagnosis ofDPB beingmade.
改正:... before the diagnosis ofDPB wasmade.
错误:The ovarian teratoma can be considered ifa ovarian tumorwith fat component and calcification or ossification spots.
改正:... if an ovarian tumor has fat component and calcification or ossification spots.

2　主谓安排不当或表达形式不对
错误: 3 caseswith glomus jugulare tumor afterwere performed superselective arteriography to identify the diseased regions and feeding arteries under Seldinger technique.
改正: Superselective arteriography was performed in 3 caseswith glomus jugulare tumor to identify...
错误: In 51 per cent of the test group and 14 percent of the control group respectively the oppression of brain stem by the vertebralbasilar arterywas found.
改正: The oppression ofbrain stem by the vertebral basilar arterywas found in 51 percentof cases in the test group and 14 percent in the control group.
错误: Methods: Reviewing the clinic documents of 20 patients beforeOLT and 13 afterOLT, including...
改正: The clinical documents of 20 patients before OLT and 13 afterOLTwere reviewed, including...
(注:OLT = original liver transplantation)
错误:The longeraxisofmultilocularcystic renalcell carcinomawere from 4mm to 25mm with average 13mm.
改正:The longeraxisofmultilocularcystic renalcell carcinoma varied from 4mm to 25mm,with an average of 13mm.

3　谓语错误加其他错误
错误: 2 patients find anastomotic bile leakage on
ERCP, butMRCP show negative; recurrence ofmalignant tumorwere found in 4 patients; 1 patientwas diagnosed regionalhepatic necrosis.
改正: Two patients were found having anastomotic
bile leakage on ERCP, butMRCP showed negative; recurrences ofmalignant tumorwere found in 4 patients; 1patientwasdiagnosed ashaving regionalhepatic necrosis.
错误: Conclusion: CT-guided percutaneous foramen ovale blocking therapy was precise, non painful procedure, highly effective, andmini trauma.

错误: 37 tumors involving anterior skull base were retrospectively analyzed their radiological features.

(注:“主语+被动谓语”后面不能接名词,应加介词作状语。)

4　其他错误
错误:We compared the CTA resultswith DSA.
改正:We compared the results ofCTA with those of DSA.
错误:We can useMRI combining with MRV as a
