1  Introduction 

With the development of the globalization and the improvement of the economy, people have walked into the age of the Knowledge Economy. They begin to pay much more attention to cross culture communications. Different cultures and information do not only bring the latest technology and experience in different fields, but also bring the language barriers to the communication. Business English, as a tool in cross-national commercial exchange, shows its overwhelming strength. Business English includes lots of fields of commercial activities, such as foreign trade, international financing, the foreign investment, international business negotiation. Almost 90% of people who use English as their language in the world use business English every day.
Under the circumstance of globalization, there are many reasons for researching on business English translation in China. Business English translation has made essential contributions to those non-English speakers who get involved in international business, which improves China's trade relations with the outside world. It is of vital importance not only for businessmen but for the development of the Chinese economy. In Business English translation, translators should not only consider the cultural influence, but also the cultural information shift.  In order to gain a better understanding of business translation, the author uses a large number of cases to Testify to the cultural influence on business English translation. The author holds that business English cultural activity like the other social activities, and the translators' intention will determine the translation strategies adopted. This thesis discusses the influences of cultural differences on business English translation and puts forward some feasible strategies in business English translation in order to improve the quality of business English translation.
