Chapter Six Conclusions and Implications
6.1 Major Findings
The study aims to explore the effects of multi-feedback,which integrates self feedback,peer feedback,and teacher feedback,on junior high school students’English writingperformance,as well as students’attitudes towards its application in English writing lesson.Thus,in order to investigate its effectiveness and feasibility more deeply,an experiment wascarried out in junior high school,and the research objectives were subdivided into three issues,namely,its effects on students’overall English writing performance,its effects on students’English writing performance in terms of content,language,and organization,and students’attitudes towards its application in writing lesson.The data was gathered by virtue of someresearch instruments,like tests,questionnaire,and interview,and then it was analyzed withthe help of SPSS 26.0.Therefore,the major findings of the research are summarized below.
In the first place,compared with traditional teacher feedback,multi-feedback makes amore significant difference in junior high school students writing performance.To be moredetailed,students who receive multi-feedback have their English writing scores increased andmake greater progress than those who only get teacher feedback,which indicates thatmulti-feedback is also suitable for English writing teaching in junior high school.Withmulti-feedback,students are capable of mastering more writing knowledge and skills bothfrom the procedure of feedback giving and receiving,and cultivating their self-awareness andindependent thinking to some extent.
