performance from three aspects:
Firstly, strengthen self-discipline. With the constant progress of social economy, enterprises become more and more formal. Not only does the public require enterprises to protect environment, but also their own development. Environment protection is helpful for them to tap potential and enhance future development. Therefore, enterprises shall take the environment protection as an important activity of their normal production and operation. The environment protection system in the city is boosting the reform and innovation in the environment law enforcement system to further strengthen and improve the environment monitoring on enterprises and keep them carrying on activities to protect environment.
Secondly, arouse enterprises awareness of improvement. Many enterprises has set up some quality authentication systems to meet the requirements of development thus to improve the management. Environment protection is an indispensable part in enterprise management and the standard for discharge of pollutants becomes sticker. Meanwhile, the public’s environment protection awareness is increasing and they pay more attention to environment protection measures the enterprises take. Hot social problems always follow even mini environment safety events. No measure is once for ever. The enterprises shall improve their pollution abatement techniques and working attitude constantly. Environment assessment can be done to promote them to increase their level in environment management.

Finally, enhance enterprises’ conscientiousness of social responsibility. Social responsibility can help them to set up good fame and image so that highlight their brand image. The development of society requires them to be responsible for not only the benefit but also the environment. They shall bear corresponding responsibility that the enterprises are required to research, develop as well as promote environment-friendly technique actively, prevent environment pollution subjectively, try to solve environment problem reported by the public and report their environment protection. To enhance enterprises’ conscientiousness of social responsibility for environment protection, the government can implement environment Pollution liability Insurance and require them to provide environment report.
At present, enterprises are the subject of energy conservation and emission reduction. When facing new circumstance and new problems, improving enterprise environment performance of the enterprises is the priority.
