Conclusion
The researches of the Lexical Approach demonstrate the advantages of lexicalchunks. Lexical chunks are viewed as ideal units for foreign language learning. Theyare the ideal way to enlarge the capacity of students’ short-term memory, and in thisway to lighten the load of students’ short-term memory and speed up theirmemorizing process. With the increase of their lexical chunks’ storage and theirfamiliarity with lexical chunks, they can understand language input more easily. Inaddition, lexical chunks facilitate top-down processing of listening. In conclusion, theLexical Approach can improve primary school students’ lexical chunk competence;it can improve primary school students’ listening comprehension. It is confirmedthat the Lexical Approach is really an effective approach in the primary Englishteaching. The results showed that the primary school students’ lexical chunk competenceand listening performance of the EG made more progress than those of the CG. TheLexical Approach was proved to be an effective approach which could improveprimary school students’ lexical chunk competence and listening comprehension. In spite of limitations in the present study, the question has been confirmed, and the aim of the study has been achieved. The findings of this study can be viewedas the supplement to studies of本论文由英语论文网提供整理,提供论文代写,英语论文代写,代写论文,代写英语论文,代写留学生论文,代写英文论文,留学生论文代写相关核心关键词搜索。
