     In Chinese Buddhist history, lotus always stands for different symbols in the different periods of the history. The symbols have been divided into six forms which stand for special meanings. Only when we have some clues about the art work’s sitting, we can have a good understanding of the work. Also, this art contains all the important characteristics a work from Tang dynasty period should have. So, that’s why I like this art a lot.
