摘要:摘要:本文主要讲述了团队决策对团队绩效的重要影响,团队结构发挥着越来越重要的影响因素。

Carpenter, & Conte, 2007). To compete with the others, new ideas and innovation need to be generate, therefore team-based structure will be definitely a good choice to help organization to survive in today's environment.

Through the study from Hollenbeck, Beersma, & Schouten (2012), it shows that there are different type of teams existed and each type of the teams has their own operating system, advantages and disadvantages, this proven that teams able to provide a lot of knowledge. Successful and satisfying teams experience certain benefits and characteristics or traits based on team performance. Teams allow members to choose and complete interested projects freely, provide the opportunity for team members to work with experts in others field, and improve the efficiency to complete the work. Besides, teams have the potential to improve work-life balance of team members since teams able to complete task effectively. (Bergiel Blaise, Bergiel Enrich, Blasmeier, 2008).

According to Stewart (2006), most of the research on team composition is focus on the dispersion (e.g., demographic, cognitive, or personality diversity) and mean levels of team member characteristics (e.g., average team ability, expertise, or personality). This proven that teams able to be analyzing through different aspect since teams can be influence by different kinds of factors. Furthermore, by influencing the range of available task-relevant resources as well as how well team members communicate and cooperate with one another, team composition is believed to have a strong impact on team performance (Bell, 2007).

Form the study of Wong and Burton (2000) team is formed for a particular purpose and can be dissolved easily when the objective is met. Group characteristics are very important for groups. The team might comprise members from diverse cultures and organization. This will definitely make a group to be interesting since group is forming teams with members from different cultures and organizations. Members with different culture and knowledge able to help teams to generate more ideas and when the knowledge and talents of diverse members are pooled together will surely bring effectiveness in making decision. (Lipnack and Stamps, 1997).

In the context of an organization consisting of teams of knowledge workers, to understand the overall performance involves examining team performance, it explores the relationship between new venture team composition and new venture persistence and performance over time (Steffens, Terjesen & Davidsson, 2003). This has shown that there were a lot can be examining on teams. Creativity and innovation are critical for organization performance and survival in rapidly changing and highly competitive environments (Lopez- Cabrales, Perez-Luno, & Cabrera, 2009). Furthermore, teams are widely used in workplaces, and workforces are becoming more diverse than ever before, so the need to examine team is especially important..

Paul Osterman(1994) has found that more than 50% of companies is using teams in performing organization works.
