Although there are many studies onthe cultivation of learning interest, but there are few methods to cultivate the students’ interest in juniorhigh school.

In the learning process, English learning is complicated because it is not usually used in our daily life.It is not only influenced by the English language itself, but also influenced by some other factors, thelearning interest is the most crucial factor among those factors. The famous educator Piaget said: “All intelligence activities derive from interests”. Einsteinsaid: “Interest is the best teacher.”All those sentences pointed out the importance of learning interest, interest plays a crucial role inEnglish learning, so it is necessary and important for the students and schools to cultivate the students’interest in order to ask the students to enjoy learning and facilitate the English learning. And it is importantfor the teachers, the teachers had better make use of all different kinds of teaching methods to arouse thestudents’ learning interest in order to ask them to enjoy the English learning and facilitate the Englishlearning. The following will conclude the ways to cultivate the students’ interest, the teachers can make useof the teaching methods which the author concludes to cultivate the students’ learning interest and facilitatethe English learning. So it is very important for us to investigate the teachers and the students and concludethe effective ways to cultivate the students’ learning interest.
