1. HOW TO ENTER
1.1 All employees, current and retired, of Rick Hansen Man in Motion
Foundation (the “RHMIMF”), its
advertising and promotional agencies, challengejudging organization, reward suppliers and their corporate parents, subsidiaries andaffiliates (“Challenge Sponsors”) and their immediate families and those withwhom they are domiciled are ineligible for the Challenge. Immediate familyincludes the husband, wife, son, daughter, brother, sister, mother, father or
grandparent of an individual.
1.2 A person may enter the Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion Top Individual
Fundraiser Challenge (the “Challenge”) by registering to participate in the RickHansen Wheels In Motion event on June 11, 2006 (the “Event”) and is consideredthe “Entrant” for the challenge. Entrants may register after Midnight, PacificStandard Time on March 1, 2006 and must check in at and participate in the Event
on June 11, 2006 (the “Challenge Period”). The Entrant must participate in theEvent during the Challenge Period. The Entrant may enter the Challenge bycompleting the online registration form at www.rickhansen.com. The Entrant mayalso enter the Challenge by completing the paper registration form, which isavailable by mail or fax from Rick Hansen Man In Motion Foundation, 5th Floor,
520 West 6th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5Z 1A1, 1-866-60-WHEEL or at the
Event.
1.3 The Entrant must register online at www.rickhansen.com, at the Event or thepaper registration must arrive at the RHMIMF by mail, email or fax during theChallenge Period. Entries received online shall be deemed to be submitted by the
holder of the e-mail account. Any person who registers for the Event andwhomeets the eligibility requirements will be automatically entered into the Challenge,unless the Entrant indicates his or her wish not to enter by checking theappropriate box on the online registration form or paper registration form.
1.4 The Challenge Sponsors will assume that the Entrant has registered for the
Event. Before rewards are awarded, the Entrant must declare that he orshe meetsall the requirements set out in the Challenge Rules, including but not limited to,
that he or she has registered for her/himself and has participated inthe Event.
1.5 Illegible registration forms are ineligible. Unintelligible, incomplete, late orgarbled registration forms will be disqualified. The Challenge Sponsors assumeno responsibility for lost, late, illegible, destroyed or misdirected entries, which for
any reason, are not received.
2. RECIPIENT SELECTION
2.1 The person who collected the highest amount of donations to the RHMIMF
in connection with the Event during the Challenge Period and submitted those
donations upon checking in at the Event location at (location name) (the “Top
Individual Fundraiser”) will be determined by the Challenge Sponsors no later
than Midnight, Pacific Standard Time on July 31, 2006, and such amount is
referred to as the “Total Raised Donations”. For clarity, the Total Raised
Donations includes funds payable by cheque if that cheque is submitted upon
checking in at the Event, even if the cheque is not honoured upon cashing. If there
is more than one person that has Total Raised Donations of exactly the same
amount to the penny (the “Tied Persons”), and that Total Raised Donations is the
highest amount of donations to the RHMIMF in connection with the Event during
