d line of the working condition of the work force, so that these are vital as they ensure that employees are not subjected to working conditions that are unsafe or degrading all in a bid to reduce costs. This particularly happens in developing countries that are looking to attract foreign direct investment. These conditions also reflect remuneration as they ensure that the workers have an avenue in the form of unions that ensure that they are compensated fairly.
On the other hand, some countries could not be acceptable conditions, such as developing countries, they should consider more on the cost of reporting.
3.3)Creating a Level Pay Field
Playing filed is depending on the different situation of the different countries. The two key elements of the pay filed is related the salary and working conditions. The different countries could make their own regulation regarding to the ILS, so that the welfare could decide on their own. The competition could be strong because the labour force could immigrate to the other countries who have the higher pay and comfortable working conditions.
The race to the bottom is a phenomenon where developing countries lower their working standards and tax policies among other things to ensure that they attract foreign direct investment to their country. Some countries do it more than others to appear more attractive to Multinational Corporations(Standing, 2008). However, ILS creates a level playing field in as far as working conditions are concerned.
3.4)Improve Productivity and economic performance
According to the stakeholder theory, the company should pay more attentions to the stakeholders not only to the shareholder(Maupain, 2013). The employees are a group of the stakeholders, so that the welfare and rights are fully paid attentions. If they are ratified in some countries, they can have a revitalising effect on productivity of the workers on a macro scale(Bronstein, 2009). The logic behind this is that when the interests of the workers are taken care of then there is a general feeling of motivation to perform their tasks efficiently. Ultimately the economic performance of the country or an entire region would excel. However, this is contingent on the ratification of the fundamental conventions. As a consequence, the labours are valuable to the countries in the development.
4. Challenges of the ILS 国际劳工标准的挑战
4.1)Supervision System
In general, it can be said that the supervisory system can be effective in some cases such as Greece where they monitor and make regular reports to the ILO.For the respective of the labour inspection of the Greek government, it change its way to a central authority to the contents of the labour inspectorate. In addition, this is however a voluntary initiative from the member country that enables it to be as commendable as is. However, it is dependent on ratification and self-monitoring. This creates a challenge and for cases such as Myanmar it is less effective. On the preference of the Myanmar, it is not delicate to the contents of the forced labours which may going against the culture of the Myanmar.
4.2)Changing of world-work of the ILS are still based on the employee and employer relationship
In order to improve the overall efficacy of the ILS there is still a significant amount that is pegged on the employee and employer relationship th
