1.1背景资料随着中国的日益发展和我国政府的开放政策,国际语言英语已经成为大家生活方式而在二十一世纪最重要的工具。为不同年龄的学生,学习英语已经成为越来越重要。初中英语学习是学习者的英语学习中心。这是第一次系统为LEAM英语学习者。此外,它也是在高中英语学习的基础。然而,学习英语是一个相当复杂的过程。它不仅包括词汇,发音和语法,但也有一个讲英语的国家的传统和文化紧密结合。一些学生良好的atlearning英语,而其他实现他们的英语学习不好。学者,学生谁也不能好好学习英语和英语考试经常失败通常calledEnglish稍逊。有很多英语稍逊的初中,并根据笔者的了解谁是英语稍逊,绝大多数是男孩。这些男孩谁也不能很好地学习英语,可以学习其他科目以及诸如物理,数学,化学等,他们可能会放弃在高中学习英语,因为英语在高中是在初中困难得多中学。
1.1 Background InformationWith the increasing development of China and the open policy of our government,the international language English has become the most important tool for everyone tolive in the twenty-first century. The study of English has become increasinglysignificant for students at various ages. English learning in junior middle school is at theheart of a learner's English learning. It is the first time for a learner to leam Englishsystematically. Furthermore, it is also the foundation of English learning at high school.However, learning English is quite a complex process. It not only includesvocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar but also has a close connection with thetraditions and cultures of English speaking countries. Some of the students are good atlearning English, while the others achieve poorly in their English study. The studentswho can't study well in English and often fail in English exams are usually calledEnglish low achievers by scholars. There are many English low achievers in juniormiddle school, and according to the author's knowledge, the vast majority who areEnglish low achievers are boys. These boys who can't study English very well can studyother subjects well such as, physics,math, chemistry, etc. They are likely to give uplearning English at high school because English at high school is much more difficultthan that at junior middle school.
Many scholars put forward that the key factor which influences students’ learning ismotivation. In addition,the New English Curriculum Standards also pointed out thatmotivation is an essential factor which influences students' English learning. MostEnglish low achievers are low motivated. Current research on motivation is based onsome theories like B. Weiner's attribution theory, Albert Bandura's self-efficacy theory,Atkinson's achievement motivation theory, etc. Motivation is a term that refers to aprocess that elicits, controls, and sustains certain behaviors. As a theoretical concept,motivation is used to explain beginning, leading, stressing and maintaining behaviors,especially the target directionality behaviors. In class, students' learning motivationconcept is used to explain how students pay attention and efforts to various kinds oftargets. Those targets may be what the teachers want to achieve, but vise versa, maybesome of them may not meet teachers' needs. Motivation is a student's own subjectiveexperience, especially the motivation which motivates them to participate in theclassroom activities and study tasks. This kind of motivation will make students involvethemselves into the English learning tasks and try their best to give a good performance.On the other hand, most of the low-achieved students are lack of this kind of learningmotivation. They are likely to avoid these kinds of English learning tasks.


1.2 The Purpose of this Research Paper
