摘要:本文主要是介绍员工的工作满意度对其工作动力的影响。对于一个组织来说,好的工作环境对员工来说极其重要,提供一个良好的工作环境才能激励员工从而提高生产力。

Quality and operational sustainability of private security service to the individuals, business organizations and house holds calls for the well trained, experienced and the motivated service providers. And sustainability in their long term commitment and loyalty to their organization is function of their job satisfaction and motivation level. Unfortunately, it is commonly observed that turnover in the private security agencies. Unfortunately it is mostly observed that frequent employees turn over in security organizations (private) is common place thereby affecting the sustainability and the productivity of their businesses.


Therefore, there is an urgency of need to improve the environment in order to reverse the worsening state of hygiene environment and raise employees satisfaction level to achieve sustainability and productivity of the business. To ensure happening of this all as envisaged, it is tangent upon said security agencies to explore the organizational environment with a view to identify and arrest all those factors playing dissatisfactory role amongst the employees of security agencies and influencing their turn over intentions.


研究问题声明---Statement of Research problem:


Research study intends to empirically investigate the prevalent hygiene environment in the private security agencies operating in Peshawar with a view to determine their level of job satisfaction and motivation so as to predict degree of their turn over intentions.


Objectives of Research: The research intends to achieve following objectives:


To explore and measure hygiene environment prevalent in the private security agencies and their impact upon the degree of satisfaction of their employees.


To establish relationship between the level of job satisfaction and motivation with a view to create work place motivation and reduce frequency of turn over intentions.


To recommend H R practices to attract, maintain and retain motivated employees so as to ensure sustainability and productivity in the security business environment.


研究的假设---Hypotheses of the Research:


a. H-1: Positive hygiene environment at work place leads to job satisfaction amongst the employees
b. H-2: Level of Job Satisfaction directly proportionate to the level of employees’ motivation.
c. H-3: Level of job satisfaction inversely affects the degree of turn over intentions amongst the employees.
d. H-4: Employees job satisfaction positively affects employee retention in the organization
e. H-5: Employees Motivation helps in maintaining productivity of employees


研究方法论---Research methodology:


Type of Research: Initially the research would be exploratory cum descriptive and then causal in nature.
Population and Sampling: Private security agencies licensed and operating in Peshawar. The sampling techniques intended to employ are combination of simple random, convenience and story stage sampling. Initially 30 % private security companies will be selected through simple random method followed by the sample of 30% security guards of each firm through convenience sampling method.
