摘要:To give some implications according to the research conclusion which could not only helpstudents improve their vocabulary study, but also be the reference for senior high schoolEnglish teachers.

eaching.Kinesthetic and group learning styles are not as famous as visual, tactile, and individuallearning styles. But the current trend of teaching is making group activities which could trainthe teamwork ability. The results of group learning styles give the direction of future teachingwhich should focus more on group work so as to help them form group learning styles.

Conclusion


In the past few decades, researches on language teaching have shifted their focus apartfrom language corpus, teaching materials, and teaching methods. Learners began to adapttheir own learning methods according to the individual characteristics. The shifts call for thelanguage teachers to pay more attention to the individual differences. But how do languageteachers improve their teaching so as to help learners perform well in language studying? As aconsequence, in recent years learning styles and learning strategies have been the hot issues inteaching researches as they are the two important features in language learning process.According to the English Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education and Senior HighSchools, senior high school students are required to master 3300 words and 400-500collocations which meet grade 8 requirements. But for senior high school students, masteringvocabulary is very difficult, for they are not good at using suitable vocabulary learningstrategies which is appropriate to their learning styles. Though researches about therelationship between learning styles and learning strategies are numerous, the researchesabout senior high school students are few. As a result, this research will be concerned aboutthe correlation between learning styles and vocabulary learning strategies of senior highschool students.
