2.3 Discuss the advantages or disadvantages in extending operations in other EU member state markets and contrast with opportunities and threats in operating outside the EU/and or in new EU member states.
 
Section 3 information Communication Technology(ICT)
3.1prepare either an access database or an Excel spreadsheet containing details of 10 of your customers including names, addresses, phone and e-mail. Print out this information and include in your written report.
Excel:
Ensure each column is formatted correctly(I.e. as text number etc)and use a separate column for each of the following
1.first name
2.last name
3.house or building number
4.street
5.town or city
6.postcode
7.phone number
8.email address
Access:
1.please ensure you have at least 8 named fields, the same as Excel
2.please ensure that all your fields are wide enough to read all the information contained in the records
3.ensure that fields are formatted correctly, and that there are no issues with punctuation, spelling, spacing, or missing/incorrect STD codes.
4 ensure you name fields rather than records.
Please notes that as per the CLAiT exam, you are penalised for poor punctuation and incomplete telephone numbers or email addresses. Phone numbers should have the correct number of digits, and correct STD codes, even if the actual phone number itself is fictitious. Please also note that there are no spaces in email addresses, and that website addresses instead of email addresses are not acceptable. Please also ensure you spell providers’ names like Hotmail or Yahoo correctly.

3.2 using Word, prepare a letter explaining an introductory offer you would like to make to your customers
By definition, these will be new customers rather than existing customers, and the key word here is letter. Offers in the form of leaflets to existing customers are not acceptable, and the layout and content of your letters must be  to the existing standards expected of formal letters. Please note that poor punctuation, spelling, and syntax will result in a fail grade for this part of the assignment as your introductory offer will not be taken seriously by a potential customer.
