Chapter Five Conclusions结论
In this chapter, the author will present the major findings and limitations of this research, then givesuggestions for future studies. Lastly, some implications for pedagogy will be given.
5.1 Major findings主要成果
This thesis has attempted to find out the disadvantages of this teaching approach and the strategies toimprove it. After questionnaire and classroom observation, the disadvantages of this teaching approach canbe stated as the followings:(1) Knowledge-centered: The teaching procedure should have been colorful and rich as well as beenfull of variety. Since its audience is the entirely different independent individual with different personalities.But this teaching approach simply summarizes the teaching procedure as a special cognitive activity. Itneglects student’s special role as an independent individual. The classes designed under the rules of thisteaching approach are always mechanical. Students’ learning before teachers’ teaching is one of the keyfeatures of this teaching approach.
