On the other hand, it can enrich our theoretical knowledge. Conflict talk is an inevitable part of verbal communication. In the process of the initiation, the  development,  the  intensification  and  the  solution  of  the  conflict,  the  two  communicating parties  constantly  choose  a  variety  of  ways  to  promote  the  development  of  the  turn.  The influence of the conflict talk is both negative and positive. In terms of its negative side, it lies in its fissility and destructiveness. The positive side is that the final settlement of the conflict will  make  communication  between  the  two  sides  consistent  and  finally  achieve  harmony. From  the  conflict  to  harmony,  and  to  the  production  of  new  conflicts,  then  to  unity,  conflict talk  has  been  upgraded  so  as  to  continuously  promote  the  harmonious  development  of language  communication.  Today’s  harmonious  society  requires  us  to  better  resolve  conflicts and  contradictions  through  communication,  and  then  achieve  the  language  mitigation  and interpersonal  harmony.  As  the  user  and  controller  of  language,  we  are  required  to  resolve conflicts at the same time. This is not only the requirements of the society, but also our own development.  Through  a  theoretically  comprehensive  understanding  about  it,  only  by effectively resolving conflicts can we improve our communication efficiency in daily life and promote good communication effect so that we can speed up the harmonious development of human relations.

2. Literature Review 

2.1 Introduction 

Grimshaw first put forward the concept of “conflict talk” in 1990. Although it started in recent years, it has been researched both in breadth and depth. Conflict talk is a very common linguistic  phenomenon  in  our  daily  life.  We  can  find  that  in  every  conversation  if  the  hearer and the speaker holds different opinions, there must exist the conflict talk. So we can see that conflict  talk  includes  'arguments',  'disagreements',  'disputes',  'quarrels',  'squabbles'  and other  verbal  aggressions.  Therefore,  more  and  more  researchers  pay  attention  to  this phenomenon because of the complexity and the popularity of the conflict talk.
