摘要:本文是英语毕业论文,本研究运用强制性提取任务及句子翻译测试,借助认知教学方式和传统的语法规则教学方式对苏州某大学两个平行班的 81 名非英语专业一年级学生进行了教学实验。
difference between different types of abstract nouns and Chinese EFL learners‘ use of indefinite article. Specifically, as far as semantic boundedness is concerned, four kinds of abstract nouns related are taken into account in the present study: static nouns, noun-continuous action nouns, continuous–action nouns and independently boundary nouns. First of all, all subjects‘ performance in their English Entrance Placement Examination as well as their initial knowledge about indefinite article use with regard to the abstract nouns in pretest is analyzed on the whole as a basic foundation for analysis. The variance of all subjects shall be tested to verify the null hypothesis that the error covariance matrix of the orthonarmoralized transformed dependent variable is proportional to an identity matrix before conducting the independent Sample T test for its validity.

CONCLUSION
Reaped from the results shown in the former chapters, this chapter firstly summarizes the foregoing into a natural conclusion. Then, some pedagogical implications are dug out for future acquisition of indefinite article as well as abstract nouns. At last, limitations within it are also put forward for further researches.The main purpose of this study is to probe into some potential enlightenment on the acquisition of indefinite article and the correct countability judgment of abstract nouns according to their inherent semantics and boundedness. As a whole, the present study further discusses two possible factors: noun types divided by semantics as well as instruction, which may exert either positive or negative effects on Chinese EFL learners‘ indefinite article use. According to the results and detailed discussion in Chapter Four, major findings can be summarized as follows: Concerning the first research question, Chinese EFL learners‘ indefinite article use does differ with regard to various types of abstract nouns. The accuracy order of indefinite article use which precedes target abstract nouns is presented as below: T4 (independent bounded nouns) > T1 (static nouns) >T2 (continuous action nouns) > T3 (non-continuous action nouns). It is worth mentioning those non-continuous action nouns or the nouns derived from achievement verbs should have high chance to be preceded by indefinite article but set obstacles for its countability judgment.
