Abstract
 Jane Eyre, tells the story of an orphan girl. Jane Eyre is a young woman with a fierce longing for love, understanding and a happy life. She strives for self- realization and equality. However, tradition is also found in Jane Eyre, she still remains conservative in many aspects. With the hope of revealing women’s dilemma in the society, this paper aims at exploring contractions in Jane Eyre.This article mainly comments on how the heroine expresses the strong feelings of her rebellion一through the struggle for self-assertion, self-dignity, self-reliance and self-realization; It also praises the struggle for recognition of the women's independence, their basic rights and equality as a human being.
Jane Eyre, written by Charlotte Bronte,is a story of the heroine’s struggle for independent personality and perfect love. Viewed as a classic work of English literature, the author of Jane Eyre makes it valuable and popular by creating a kind of
new imagination.This paper argues for Jane' s attractive character through her life experience.

   简爱描写一个孤女个人的奋斗故事，简爱满怀对真爱的渴求，对被人理解的渴望，以及对幸福生活的期盼。简爱对自己的命运、价值、地位的思考和努力把握，对自己的思想和人格有着理性的认识，对自己的幸福和情感有着坚定的追求。然而在简爱身上依旧可以看到传统观念的羁绊，此文的目的在于揭示当时社会环境中女人自有的困惑。本文通过塑造自尊自主、叛逆反抗, 追求精神上的自由、平等具有反抗精神的简爱

  夏落蒂勃朗特，对于简爱的描写主要体现在简爱追求独立的人格以及完美的爱情，简爱被认为是英国文学史上的经典之作，为研究那个时代的女性主义给出了新的意境。本文主要通过对简爱性格中的挣扎，反抗来诠释简爱的性格。

                         Introduction
    During the 1800' s, the time period in which Jane Eyre was written, women were judged only by two standards: wealth and appearance. Besides, being submissive and dependent was viewed as great moral for them. Thus, they never had rights to develop a mind of their.Charlotte Bronteestablished a kind of new feminine image by creating a heroine, Jane Eyre, who possessed nothing beyond her character. She has the persistent pursuit for equal personality and completely true love as men do. Her attractive character has influenced thousands of female readers all over the world in their life, mind and passion.
  Jane Eyre is Charlotte Bronte's best literary production. The work is one of the most popular and important novels of the Victorian Age. It is noted for its sharp criticism of the existing society.
At the same time, it is an intense moral fable. Jane Eyre, like Mr. Rochester, has to undergo a series of physical and moral tests to grow up and achieve her final happiness.
   Without violating her integrity or her conscience, Jane's struggle for self-realization and her longing for love and fulfillment are both realized. It is moral and spiritual as well as emotional. Jane Eyre's achievement of it is the meaning of the book.
