Respondent: 2000.
Interviewer: Numbers of your employees?
Respondent: Our company now has 168 staff, more than 90% are graduate students and undergraduates. The average age of our employees is 26.8 years old.
Interviewer: How about your ratio of export to total annual sales?
Respondent: 100 per cent.100% of our company's business is in the Japanese market, we has established long-term relations of cooperation with Japan's Nomura Research Institution, Japan Zhengxing Electric Mfg. Co., Ltd., HIMACS and many other software companies. Our company has sent a certain number of capable staff to Japan for training, learning the software development of Japanese software enterprises’ and advanced management system so as to enhance the overall quality of our enterprises to lay a solid foundation for better development in future.
Interviewer: What products do your company specializes in?
Respondent: Our company is mainly engaged in the computer customization and the design and development of MIS software of general-purpose computer and e-commerce software.
Interviewer: Except Dalian, have you had other bases?
Respondent: No.
Interviewer: How many years have you worked in the company?
Respondent: About 5 years.
Interviewer: At the beginning of your internationalization, what drives your company choosing this way?
Respondent: It the natural choice of our company. When YuanDong Digital was first established in Dalian, the dream of founder’s was to establish the best IT enterprise in China. With the development of our enterprise, the competition in IT industry in China becomes ever hot, many companies begin to search for oversea partners for better financial and technical support, to survive in this market, and the only way is to accelerate the pace of internationalization.
Interviewer: When does your enterprise start to internationalize?
Respondent: In 2001.
Interviewer: Whether it is the plan to develop the market or just accidental turning point?
