摘要:本文是一篇高中英语教学论文,本研究以建构主义学习理论和人本主义教育理论为理论基础,基于英语学科核心素养的要求对通辽市第一中学所收集的20份高中英语阅读课教学设计进行了分析。

(1)What is the current status of senior high school English teachers’applicationof English subject key competencies in the instructional design of reading classes?(2)What are the factors that influence the implementation of subject keycompetencies in the instructional design of senior high school English readingclasses?(3)How do teachers effectively practice the concept of key competencies in theinstructional design of senior high school English reading classes?

The first research question is implemented through the case study method,classroom observation method,and interview method.Based on a deep understandingof the connotation of English subject key competencies,the author analyzes Englishinstructional design cases,and conducted classroom observations and interviews withteachers to discover the current situation of applying subject key competencies insenior high school English reading instructional design.The second research questionis developed through interviews.Interviews and classroom observations areconducted with English teachers to analyze the reasons behind these problems.Thelast question is to improve the use of disciplinary key competencies in senior highschool English reading class instructional design by suggesting improvementmeasures and suggestions about the problems derived from the previous threeresearch methods and by incorporating relevant theories.

The following is an analysis of the results of instructional design cases,classroom observations and interviews.

The results of the analysis of the instructional design cases collected from 10senior high school English teachers according to the criteria and conditions of theEnglish subject key competencies are shown in the following Table 2.

Main findings

Taking humanistic education theory and constructivist learning theory as thetheoretical basis of the study,based on the analysis of the instructional design ofEnglish reading class based on English subject key competencies and combined withclassroom observation and interview results,the author summarizes the followingcurrent situation of the application of English subject key competencies in senior highschool English reading class teaching,and the factors affecting its implementation inteaching.
