摘要:写作学习第二语言学习中的重点和难点。写作技巧直接影响到听读翻译的语言技能发展。语言学的研究表明,在自然语言中,有大量的固定或半固定的形式的语言结构,语块的理想语言处理单元,能够加速语言处理,输入和输出的速度为改善语言发挥着重要的作用。

However, forSLLs, their uses of LC tend to be more oral and informal. There are less LC used bythe underachievers than by achieved SLLs. However,researchers also have found outformulaic speech is widely used by some Chinese English learners, who are usuallyshowed some lists of sentence patterns for them to practise so as to consolidate whatthey have leamt. It is a traditional way based on behaviourism theory, which seems tohave lost its favor. Nevertheless, it is a fact that learners do have mastered theknowledge well by remembering and using formulaic language.(2) Thus the necessity of teaching lexical chunks needs to be stated. According toAltenberg (1998), 80% of language that native English speakers use is formulaic, witha large number of prefabricated chunks in fact (Pawley & Syder, 1983; Ellis. 1994;84-85). Thus, besides grammar, the pragmatic and idiomatic usage should be takeninto consideration in writing teaching. Li Taizhi (2004) insists that lexical chunkteaching should be the starting point in cultivating students, English languageproficiency in middle schools. Lewis (1993) states,LC should be taught directly inclassroom teaching. Hsu (2002) also presents that foreign language proficiency hassignificant correlation with the use of lexical collocations. And the competence oflexical collocation will be influenced by many aspects,like classroom teaching,learning motivation, learning strategies and so on.In addition,many researchers have verified the significance of LC to languageskills, such as Chen Xuhong (2008), Li Feng (2007) and Diao Linlin (2004). PuJianzhong (2003) and Wei Naixing (2007) carry out their studies based on corpora.Later,similar studies are conducted by Tan Aihua & Feng Chuanyuan (2008) andZhang Yaqing (2007). Their studies have proved the importance of LC on improvinglearners' writing ability.(3) The advantages of applying lexical chunk approach to writing teaching havealso been explored. Investigations of the disadvantages of current vocabulary andwriting leaching approaches conducted by Huang Fuhe & Xia Hongbo (2011), ZhangXianchen (2007) indicate that traditional vocabulary teaching emphasizes memorizingwords too much with their application detached, whereas lexical chunk approachwhich embodies both textua】 meaning and discourse ability is an effective way \omake compensation for deficiency of the traditional approach and is practical for theproduction of writing. This is also proved by famous researcher Pu Jianzhong (2003),who holds that LC should be the core in language teaching and learning.Nevertheless, up till now few studies have been made on exploring specificmeasures of applying lexical chunk approach to enhance learners' writing ability.Only Wang Xueru(2008) and Wang Bixiang (2009) try to enhance learners, writingability by teaching LC, following the way of "accumulating-applying-consolidating","retrieving- intemalizing-applying" respectively.Besides,some comparative analyses have been made on lexical chunk theory onguiding writing teaching. Cai Ping (2011) holds that SMSSs are insufficient in writingstrategies, which prevents them from improving their writing ability.
