摘要:作为一种特殊的英语学习小组,学生的专业是艺术或体育时必须面临着不同的英语教学和学习的要求。出于各种原因,他们可以通过特殊情感状态进行英语的学习,特别是突出了在自主学习的大学中。

size theautonomous learning and affective factors, most of which are mainly about thecorrelation between the two fields, few specially concentrate on the music students. Sucha English learning group is often ignored when those researches claim to be made fornormal English learners. From the points of music students, this paper will discuss andanalyse the affective factors in learning in as detailed a way as to make clearer theinfluence of these factors on autonomous learning. The aim of this study is to facilitateautonomous learning behaviours by developing the affective factors concerned and italso covers how to construct positive affective factors in undergraduates' autonomouslearning in order to improve the English teaching quality in arts majors.

5.Conclusion

 

Being a special English learning group, students whose majors are art or sport haveto be confronted with different English teaching and learning requirements from otherlearning groups. Out of various reasons, they could get through special affective state inEnglish learning, especially in the university which highlights the autonomous learning.In order to help such a group of English learners to prompt the autonomous learning, it isessential to present the deep findings on the survey.Therefore, expounded in this chapter is three parts: 1. the answers to the researchquestions; 2. the implications on the survey result; 3. the possible limitation of theresearch.

 

5.1. General Findings
Having made a correlational study on the affective factors and autonomous learningbehaviour, we can arrive at some conclusions as follows:1. Only a small part of music students are fairly enthusiastic about English learning,more tend to treat it a negative way, but the majority of them are still in a slightly positiveaffective state, for example, they have weak motions or feel reluctant to deal withlearning, and they are short of confidence in learning under too much anxiety.2. As is known, the slightly positive affective states cannot guarantee the successfullearning outcome. When autonomous learning contains three phases planning,implementing and assessing, the students can have a similar performance in the planning,but the autonomous learning strategies which is vital to get it to succeed tend to varygreatly. Students mostly are willing to learn English well, so they can set a plan on theirinitiative, but the plan possibly become nothing in the end when the students' languagelearning strategies cannot make contribution to their expected learning outcome.
